We’re proud to be part of Fairlawn’s trailblazing effort — Ohio’s first fully connected vehicle corridor — bringing next-generation safety and smart mobility to Market Street. This deployment (built on C-V2X and integrated with the TravelSafely app) includes features like emergency-vehicle priority, school-zone protections and transit signal priority — all aimed at keeping pedestrians safer and helping our first responders get where they’re needed faster.
A huge thanks to the City of Fairlawn, Applied Information, Metro RTA, and ODOT for their partnership on this project — and to the local teams installing Glance connected-vehicle equipment across intersections and fleet vehicles. We’re excited to see these benefits for students, transit riders, firefighters and our whole community as the corridor goes live.
