Path Master, Inc. is proud to announce a new partnership with Ouster, Inc., a global leader in high-resolution digital lidar sensing technology.

As transportation agencies continue to advance smart corridor and connected vehicle initiatives, accurate, reliable, and scalable detection has become critical. Ouster’s digital lidar sensors provide real-time, three-dimensional perception with high point cloud density, long-range detection, and precise object classification across multiple lanes and multimodal environments.

Unlike traditional detection systems that rely on limited zones or line-of-sight technologies, lidar enables comprehensive intersection awareness — identifying vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, and other roadway users simultaneously while delivering actionable data to traffic controllers and intelligent transportation systems (ITS).

Through this partnership, Path Master expands its ability to support:

• Advanced multimodal detection

• High-resolution intersection monitoring

• Data-driven signal timing optimization

• Connected vehicle infrastructure integration

• Smart corridor performance analytics

By integrating lidar-based sensing into existing and next-generation traffic infrastructure, agencies can improve safety outcomes, enhance operational efficiency, and prepare corridors for scalable V2X and connected mobility deployments.

As Path Master approaches its 50th year in the industry, this partnership reflects our continued commitment to evolving alongside transportation technology — combining decades of infrastructure expertise with forward-looking intelligent sensing solutions.

We look forward to supporting agencies and partners in deploying smarter, safer, and more responsive roadway networks.
